Reiten & Co consists of an experienced investment team which together has created significant values. The company has investment experience from a range of industries and primarily invests in medium sized Norwegian or Nordic private or public companies.

Reiten & Co was established in 1992, and since the first investment in 1996 the company's private equity business has developed into one of the leading practices in the Nordic region with €450 million under management. Reiten & Co invests in ambitious growth companies. The company's investment methodology focuses on identifying, structuring and actively managing investment projects within companies and industries that are considered attractive. Reiten & Co supplies portfolio companies with financial and strategic competency, experience, drive and initiative combined with capital. The goal is to build great companies, and to create value with controlled risk, through close interaction between Reiten & Co and the portfolio companies.

Since the beginning in 1996 Reiten & Co has invested in 22 companies, including IT, oil & offshore services, food & nutrition, telecom, real estate, retail and outsourcing. Nine of the 22 portfolio companies have been realised, mostly through IPOs or industrial sales.

In 2010, Reiten & Co's portfolio companies had combined revenues of 740 million Euros and approximately 3400 employees.
