Mr Melby, a Norwegian citizen, joined Reiten & Co in 2002 and has been a partner since 2006.  Prior to joining Reiten, he was a management consultant at Arthur Andersen Business Consulting, serving Scandinavian clients on strategic issues and operational improvement programs.  During this period he assisted Arthur Andersen’s Corporate Finance team on M&A projects.  He holds a Masters degree in Industrial Economics and Technology Management from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and Certified Financial Analyst degree (CFA) from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration.  He has guest lectured on private equity topics on the CFA program.  Mr Melby currently sits on the Board of Directors of Notabene, Basefarm, Webstep and StormGeo, and formerly served on the board of Saferoad, Factor Insurance Group and Plugging Specialists International.
